Matters of price management

These days, the price storm has stalked through the whole country. Actually, the matter of increasing price of essential goods without restraint took place long since.
Only when the Prime Minister supplied concrete guidance strictly, the under management authorities headed in succession for the implementation. But, it is just the meeting, the respondence of interview with the anwers as sure as fate that “implementing strictly the guidance of Government”, “being determined to treat the cases of violation”, or “tightening the price controlled measures, not to increase price unreasonably”....
There will be many the inspection teams set up and there will be some cases fined. But that much has still made the workers, employees feel that they – the management authorities-are still as the outsiders. Because they just do the big job. In each small family, it will be in anxious suspense for the daily life’s expenditure.
Saying that because, apart from the great richs, the housewives, the normal employees have the method of calculation on up and down of price in difference ways from the experts, scholars. For example, previously, a poor employee has full sidewalk-lunch at 10,000 VND But now, it’s at least of 20,000 VND.
Recently, a kilogram of pork was 60,000 VND, now it’s up to 90,000 VND. A blister of medicine is from 100,000 VND to 150,000 VND. With such examples of price to show that the consumers have to tighten their belt because they couldnot guest what can happen next. But on TV, media that some scholars, dignitaries talked generally about “ exchanging pull-off rate”, “balancing supply and demand”...

Their explanation is very equivocal. For example, talking about medicine’s price, they explained due to the change of currency between VND and USD or other reasons have made it change about 5-7% from the beginning of the year to now. Good heavens! The fact that they covered the kinds of medicine at all, in which some kinds of medicine did not drink nor dead then they divided in average to have a general outcome for everyone.
But some patent medicines, if it was not used for its patients then its patients would died, are in the burden of increase day by day. Or some of them covered the price of real estate or luxurious things...with daily life’s things then they also divided, its result was that getting none’s understand.
In these few days, the price of gold has been increased very quickly. But it’s just normal in global. The fast growth of golden price posting up has created a question of comparison for the fact that if it could relate to price of gold or pork in other place. And if having a question that why the price of gold in Vietnam has increased so fast, the general anwser is due to the worldwide price of gold has increased.
But, at present, a recent survey of WHO for 07 commonly used medicine groups (including antibiotic) showed that the price of medicine in Vietnam was 5-40 fold increase compared with the global price. Why is this small comparison not found out by our management authority?
